Union flag policy to be changed
Belfast City Council has voted to change its policy of flying the Union flag outside Belfast City Hall on 356 days a year. They backed an Alliance motion to fly the flag only on designated days, in line with the current flag policy at Stormont. The motion was passed by 29 votes to 21.
